Formula 1 Clutch Housing Lamp - Race Car Decor Made from Authentic McLaren Engine Components

These lamps are built from McLaren Formula One parts that almost never leave the team. For collectors, sets like this are about as rare as it gets.

Each lamp uses an original clutch housing as the bulb mount. One of the housings carries a small impact mark from its time on the car, likely from a clutch issue during a race weekend. It’s a real detail from real use, and it adds to the story without getting in the way of the clean look.

The rest of the structure comes from the same race car. You’ll see clutch fork arms, transmission shafts, oil pipes, and bases made from transmission gears. The parts do the talking — nothing is added just for show.

Both lamps run Edison-style LED bulbs and use cloth-wrapped cords. The bulb angle can be adjusted, and the pair has a solid, balanced presence when set up together.

A matching pair built from genuine F1 components is something you’re unlikely to see again. Once these are gone, there isn’t another set waiting behind them.
