Built around a genuine Ferrari 360 Modena 3.6L V8 engine block, this one-of-a-kind coffee table brings a piece of Italian automotive engineering into your home.
The aluminum engine block has been completely cleaned and refinished in a striking bright red, with the flat machined surfaces left in exposed aluminum for contrast. The original Ferrari lettering remains visible in the casting beneath the glass, a detail that makes the origins of the engine immediately recognizable.
One of the most interesting features of this particular block is its history. At some point in its life, the engine suffered a connecting rod failure, breaking through the side of the block. Rather than repairing or disguising the resulting opening, we've deliberately left it exposed. It's part of the engine's story and gives this table a character entirely its own.
Connecting rods extend upwards from the block to support a 32-inch round Starphire low-iron glass top. At 3/4-inch thick, the glass offers exceptional clarity with very little of the green tint found in conventional glass, allowing the details of the engine to be appreciated from above.
Standing 18 inches tall, the finished table is designed to be both functional furniture and a centerpiece for a living room, private automotive collection, office, or showroom.
