This is a brake disc from a real car, re-created into a desk clock! The purpose of a brake disc on the car is to spin with the wheels as the car drives down the road. Immense pressure is then squeezed onto the brake disc from both sides - that's what slows down the car.

When Ben's Automotive Decor gets hold of the donor disc, it goes through an extensive cleaning process. After the raw metal is cleanly exposed, it is re-designed into a desk clock and coated with a lacquer. This seals and protects the finish perfectly.
