McLaren Artura Engine Table — Block Series 01 Built for McLaren USA Headquarters Trophy Room
When McLaren reached out and asked if I’d build a centerpiece for their U.S. headquarters, I knew this wasn’t going to be just another engine table. They didn’t send over design directives or mood boards. Instead, they said something that changed everything:
“We’ve seen your work — build it how you think it should be built.”
That kind of creative freedom from a brand like McLaren doesn’t come around often. They supplied a power unit, and I decided to strip it right back to the block — no flash, no distractions, just pure engineering presence. I wanted it to feel more like a piece of mechanical architecture than a display item.
Once the fabrication and finishing were complete, the table was crated and shipped directly to McLaren’s headquarters in Texas. It now sits inside their trophy room, surrounded by race history, carbon fiber, and the names of champions.
Somewhere between corporate architecture and racing heritage — a table built by hand in a small workshop in California now sits among McLaren’s own story.
