Built for McLaren USA Headquarters Trophy Room
McLaren Engine Block Table

The Foundation
"We started with a genuine McLaren 600LT V8 engine block — stripped down, cleaned, and ready for its new role. Every casting line and machining mark was kept visible, a reminder of the craftsmanship that went into the original car. The goal wasn’t to hide its history, but to highlight it."

The Heart Revealed
"It’s incredible to stand over the piece and look straight down into the cylinders — the very chambers that once formed the throbbing heart of a McLaren sports car. Every machined surface, every bolt hole, carries the story of power and precision. What was once pure performance is now pure art — a true celebration of automobilia."

Refinement and Finish
"After surface prep, the block was coated in a deep satin black — sleek but understated, giving it an industrial elegance. The frame was hand-built in matching steel, echoing McLaren’s design philosophy of form following function. It’s balanced, minimalist, and built to stand the test of time."

A Lasting Tribute
Now complete, the table stands as both sculpture and memory — a reflection of motion captured in metal. Built from the same 600LT donor engine as the Movement Series piece, it honors the performance and precision that define McLaren. A lasting tribute to the machines that inspire us to create — now residing in McLaren’s U.S. headquarters in Texas.
