Manheim Auto Group reached out looking for a custom gift for top managers and store partners. The goal was simple: something automotive, functional, and brandable — not a novelty item.The piston clock was the right fit. A real engine piston turned into a working desk clock.
Choosing the Right Piece
The piston clock works because it doesn’t try too hard. It’s clearly automotive, but it also serves a purpose. It can sit on a desk or shelf and get used every day, not tucked away.
Clean Branding
We designed a custom clock face with Manheim branding and kept it straightforward. No overdesign. No gimmicks. Once they saw it, they approved it immediately.
Engraved and Personalized
Each clock was engraved on the side to mark Manheim’s 80-year anniversary. From there, every piece was personalized for the individual receiving it. Same base design, but no two clocks were exactly the same.
Final Result
The finished clocks were practical, well-built, and personal. A branded gift that didn’t feel promotional. Just a solid piece made from real automotive parts, built to last and meant to be used.
