Finding the Right Parts
"This project began when I stumbled upon some genuine F40 components. An original crankshaft, pistons, and rods from the personal collection of a long-time Ferrari mechanic in Belgium was a real find. These pieces came directly from the service life of an F40, carrying the history and character that make this table special."
Designing the Frame
"Once the parts arrived in California, I built a custom frame to support and highlight the entire rotating assembly. The artistic design keeps the focus on the F40 components, giving them space to stand out while ensuring the table is strong, balanced, and clean in its overall presentation."
Showcasing the Heritage
"To tie the piece together, I etched the F40 logo into the glass top—subtle, precise, and true to the heritage of the engine these parts once belonged to. It marks the table as more than furniture. It becomes a piece of automotive history preserved for display."
Delivered to Its Collector
The finished table is now with its new owner, a private collector in Florida. Built from a genuine F40 rotating assembly, it’s a one-of-a-kind piece with parts that simply can’t be sourced again. The chances of creating another table with these parts are practically nonexistent.
